With more than twenty years experience teaching college and secondary students, and having attended universities both in the United States and in Europe, I believe I would be an excellent addition to any staff. I have planned and taught courses in theology, foreign languages, and the humanities at several Chicago area Catholic high schools; have had extensive experience with online teaching as well as a combined approach of onsite and online teaching; and have mentored faculty and students at both the secondary and college levels.

I personally studied and lived in Europe for four years. I studied at the Lateran University in Rome, Italy, and continued my foreign-language studies in Madrid, Spain, Fribourgh, Switzerland (French), and Vienna, Austria. To understand a language is to understand its people and culture. And having lived and studied in Europe I have come to appreciate and respect its varied peoples and cultures. I have always brought this sensitivity and understanding into the classroom.
